Praise the Lord! He is good all the time!
You'll recall that on Tuesday morning 4th Nov, I was on the way to Port Dickson on an assignment for a couple of days when I sent an SMS or rather an SOS to both of you to inform you what I thought was that we both, i.e.Marena and I, were under attack by the Devil. I said I was sure that this had to do with Marena's talk at the Solid Rcck Woman the previous Saturday for on Monday Marena suffered a mild stroke and had to be taken to the APS Hospital for medication. She was resting at home with sister Ramona looking after her while I went on to PD on Tuesday. I also said that for some unknown reasons, for I was certain that I had not injured my back, my lower left back started to hurt and started to spread to my right side. I was in agony driving to PD. The pain got worse and worse and was impeding with my work, but I struggled on as it was an important assignment. That was when I thought about our Wednesday CPKL Prayer Group and Ps Edward's prayer for us on Sunday after Church service. I remembered he quoted Book of James chap 5 about calling on the elders for healing prayer when some one is sick. So I thought to myself we can't fight this under our own strength. We need strong fervent prayers from the Prayer Warriors of our Church who can bring on the healing powers of the Almighty. And so my request to you.
I could hardly move with my entire lower back in pain by the time I got back to KL late Wednesday, Going to bed was an agony as I tried to turn around in bed like we always do. One never sleeps in one position all through the night. But I took some pain killers and went to bed early last evening after a quick meal. I slept all night. Got up this morning and guess what - NO MORE PAIN! I could bend forward, put on my socks and shoes without so much as a hint of the pain I had the last few days. I am back at work like nothing has ever happened to my back. The painkillers might have helped to dull the pain, but not this kind of healing that is so complete. It's the healing hands of our God.
Marena too has recovered and is back on her feet.
Thanks to you all for your prayers last night. That is the healing powers of our living God! His promises come true - exodus 15 v 26 says "...I am the God that health thee". I give Him our grateful thanks - the glory belongs to Him.
